Elephant Sanctuary: Help and protection for homeless elephants

Thousands and thousands of elephants have been living in Thailand for many decades. In the recent years, the number of these gentle animals has been greatly reduced. In 1950, there were still about 50,000 elephants, whilst today there are only 3,000 to 3,500 left. The main reason for this is clearing of woods and forests, which often takes the lives of these fascinating animals. We are committed to the protection of elephants by offering them a safe and protected life in the elephant sanctuary.

The Great Green Wall is an African-led movement with an epic ambition to grow an 8,000km natural wonder of the world across the entire width of Africa. A decade in and roughly 15% underway, the initiative is already bringing life back to Africa’s degraded landscapes at an unprecedented scale, providing food security, jobs and a reason to stay for the millions who live along its path.

The Seahorse Trust

“Set up in 2000, the Trust is a conservation not-for.
profit charity. The Seahorse Trust (registered number ) carries on the work of Neil Garrick-Maidment, its founder, who has worked with seahorses for over 47 years. He has observed the life cycle of 22 species of seahorse. He advises governments, individuals and projects on seahorse conservation all around the world. The ethos of the Trust is to work in partnership with nature. They do this by working in partnership with people like Kealan and others such as the SEALIFE group of aquariums, Marine Conservation Cambodia (MCC) Save Our Seahorses in Malaysia and many others around the world. Only by working together can we all make a difference. Time is running out and unless we do something about it now it will be toolate.

I have personally visited all these initiatives by being part of the beach cleanings, having the joy of feeding baby elephants that were beaten almost to death or abandoned, crying of excitement from the amazing work of many activists… Many good people are doing so much for our Planet and I m just here to help you decide how to be part of it too!
